About Us

Our school is administered by the sisters of Marian Province of the Congregation of the Holy Family founded by Bl. Marian Thressia. The foundress started education institutions to impart the knowledge of God, participating creatively in the teaching ministry building up families into an intimate community of life and love. Vijayamatha always aims at achieving excellence in every aspect of educational activity, spiritual, academic, cultural and physical. Our vision is to create a better world of enlightened and integrated citizen and mould ideal families by imparting knowledge of God and value based education. Sown as a small seed in January 1967 with just 20 little buds, now standing before you all as a behemoth institution of more than 2300 students from KG to +2 and now we are at the door step of mile stone “Golden Jubilee” which will be celebrated throughout the year On this day of spectacular extravaganza with sublime mood of joy, I stand before you to submit this year’s report,

Strength:
Step by step, inch by inch we grew in strength and now we have about 2300 students. To achieve the vision of Vijayamatha i.e. to mould sensible, vibrant, young and talented citizens, we have 93 preceptors and 15 support staff.

H.S:
Determination and perseverance are the two pillars for success and our students certainly do not lack in that. Each milestone achieved laid an imprint and produced 100% result in SSLC thus collecting accolades on the way. They make us proud and today our flag is flying high. Out of 149 students, 31 of them have secured full A+ . Over the years we have won in both curricular and extra-curricular segments. In science and maths fair they have scored two 1st ‘A’ grade and two 2nd‘A’ grade at district level and four ‘A’ grades at state level.

 

 

 The gems are Jebin Thomas, Mohammed Niyas, Balasubramanian and Ajith K.A. We have also won overall prize in sub-district maths fair. Now sports, Master Uneesh. U participated in 61st National School Games 2015-16 wrestling free style competition conducted at Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He also scored 1st rank, below 42kg category in the 59th Kerala State School games. At Revenue District School sports held at Muttikulangara, Noushin has bagged 3rd position in shot-put, Girls shuttle- 2nd , Tennis boys and girls- 3rd and in girls Chess- 2nd. In the sub district youth festival our school won 1st ,overall for high school section. Moreover in the state youth festival our ’Poorakali’ team have secured 1st A grade and band group secured ‘A’ grade. Our U.P group dance has also bagged 2nd A grade at district youth festival.

H.S.S:

“Under tribulation and severe strain there blossoms the best in some.” Out of 159 students who appeared for +2 exams 4 students were able to secure full A+. They are Keerthana. B from Commerce, Rajalakshmy, ShilpaRamdas and Sreelakshmy. S from Biology. Sohaib.A in work experience and Manu .M.G in maths fair won 1stA grade at district level and A grade at state level. Our students have won overall prize in maths fair at district level. In the I.T quiz at district level Sayana.A.S has secured 3rd A grade. At Revenue District School sports held at Muttikullangara, Deepti Das has bagged 1st in shot-put. In shuttle, Girl’s team got 1st ,in tennis boys and girls got 3rd. In the sub-district youth festival Higher Secondary bagged 1st overall shield. At state school kalolsavam they have won 3rd A grade in Poorakali , Sukanya.V.K secured 3rd ‘A’ grade in classical music and light music category and Sreelakshmy. S. secured ‘A’ grade in Kathakkali. A proud moment for Vijayamatha was when one of our former students , Master Akbar Ali who graduated from +2 computer science last year was able to crack IIT and got the admission at IIT-Delhi
